The magic of magnotherapy has worked wonders on a pensioner from Milton who has suffered from migraines for over 60 years. A simple Bioflow band worn around the wrist has ended years of suffering for 76 year old Derek Wall.

Derek and his wife Sheila help to run the Cambridgeshire Pensioners Fellowship which meets once a week at St Matthews Street, Cambridge and discovered Bioflow when a talk was held in May 2009. Derek, who also suffers from restless leg syndrome and Sheila both, purchased a Bioflow band. Sheila suffers from arthritis and poor circulation. Sheila now finds that she has more strength in her arthritic hands and her thumb has not been as sore since wearing the Bioflow band. She can now squash a tin with her hand which she could never do before.

Derek, who was suffering from a migraine once a week, has said that the bracelet has changed his life. It is amazing he has been almost free of them since wearing the band and has also found that the restless legs have decreased significantly as well. Derek has tried everything over the 60 years to find relief from the migraines including acupuncture, hypnotherapy and has seen speciailists in London with no avail.

Derek says that Sheila used to have to suddenly take over the driving whilst they were out because of his migraines but this has not been the case since May. Derek & Sheila can now do more together as a couple as prior to the Bioflow Derek’s life was controlled by the migraines and spent a lot of time laying down in a darkened room away from Sheila. Derek’s migraines lasted for up to 3 days previously. Derek also helps with the Dial a Bus fortnightly.

As well as the health benefits that Derek & Shelia have benefited from the Cambridgeshire Pensioners Fellowship had £21.00 donated by Karen Olden, Independent Bioflow Distributor. Karen has worn a Bioflow band herself for 6 and a half years and has benefited with reduced headaches and was previously taking painkillers continuously, however she does not do so now.
